33.70

疏「然此九喻」等下，上總顯偈意，此下別釋偈文。古但直釋，今將配問。言「總顯境界無量」者，下之九事皆佛分齊之境故，境界為總句故。

Regarding the commentary's "However, these nine similes" and following: above, it generally revealed the verse's meaning; from here down, it separately explains the verse's text. Ancient masters merely explained it directly, whereas now it is matched to the questions. Regarding "generally revealing the boundless cognitive object": because the nine items below are all objects within the Buddha's scope, "cognitive object" is the general clause.
