疏「聖道如火」等者，二約修消經，即《俱舍論》文，謂「聖道如火，能燒惑薪。道火前相，故名為燸。」

Regarding the commentary's passage beginning "The noble path is like fire": the second part interprets the sūtra in terms of practice, which is a passage from the Abhidharmakośa-bhāṣya stating, "The noble path is like fire, capable of burning the firewood of delusion. Being the preliminary sign of the fire of the path, it is named 'warmth.'"
