疏「二正明所用不同」者，行本防護，與樂別故，故須兼具。前意釋印初義，此意釋印後義。

Regarding the Commentary's line: "Second, directly clarifying that their functions differ": the basis of practice is protection, which differs from giving joy; therefore, one must be endowed with both. The previous intention explained and confirmed the first meaning; this intention explains and confirms the latter meaning.
