疏「非業繫故」下，釋相。於中有三：初經中七字，示三德體；二「無住處」下八字，拂三德相；三以第四句辯三德功能。

Regarding the Commentary's passage from "Because it is not bound by karma" onward, it explains the characteristics. Within this there are three parts: first, the seven characters in the sūtra indicate the essence of the three virtues; second, the eight characters from "no dwelling place" downward brush away the characteristics of the three virtues; third, using the fourth line to distinguish the functions of the three virtues.
