35.51

疏「下經云：如淨水中四兵像」下，第二總明也。即引當經及於他經，以示能現所現海印之相。言「乃至莫不皆於水中現」者，其中間云「各各別異無交雜，劍戟弧矢類甚多，鎧冑車輿非一種，隨其所有相差別，莫不皆於水中現，而水本自無分別，菩薩三昧亦如是。」即第十五經。

Regarding the commentary's: "The sūtra below says: 'Like the images of the fourfold army in clear water'," this is the second, the general explanation. It cites the present sūtra as well as other sūtras to illustrate the marks of that which manifests and that which is manifested in the ocean-seal. As for the words "down to: none that do not manifest in the water," the middle part says: "Each distinctly different without confusion, / Swords, halberds, bows, and arrows of very many kinds, / Armor, helmets, carriages, and chariots of more than one sort; / According to whatever differentiated marks they have, / There are none that do not manifest in the water, / Yet the water itself fundamentally has no discrimination; / The bodhisattva's samādhi is also like this." This is the fifteenth fascicle of the sūtra.
