35.56

疏「經云遍十方故」者，即是今經，於一念頃遍十方也。言「普悉包含無所拒」者，即指上引。十義所引，皆上總中所引之經，及〈出現品〉，文多易了。但第十云「以不待對是故常現」者，此以第十釋成第九，即為揀異。由十成九，故云釋成。而九竪論、十是橫說，故為揀也。

Regarding the commentary's: "Because the sūtra says it pervades the ten directions," this is the present sūtra, pervading the ten directions in a single thought-moment. As for the words "universally encompassing everything without rejection," this points to the citation above. The citations for the ten meanings are all from the sūtras cited in the general section above, as well as the "Chapter on Manifestation"; the text is mostly easy to understand. Only the tenth says: "Because it does not depend on confrontation, it therefore constantly manifests": this uses the tenth to explain and complete the ninth, thereby serving as a distinction. Because the tenth completes the ninth, it is said to explain and complete it; and since the ninth discusses vertically while the tenth speaks horizontally, it therefore distinguishes them.
