35.7

疏「夫行不虛設」等者，此有二來意：初對前行以成今德；後「又前智首」下，廣前所成之德，故次來。

Regarding the Commentary's "Practice is not established in vain," etc., there are two reasons for its occurrence: first, contrasting with the preceding practice to establish the present virtue; second, from "Furthermore, previously the Chief of Wisdom (Jñānaśrī)..." downward, it expands upon the previously accomplished virtue, hence it follows next.
