4.18

第三依主。疏文分五：一總彰大意；二「今說此經」下，假難徵起；三「故說此經」下，總相會通；四「今先明」下，開章別釋；五「是知或說」下，會通餘教。今初，謂如來唯一無障礙身，隨機教異耳。

Third: depending on the master. The text of the commentary is divided into five parts: 1. generally revealing the overarching meaning; 2. from "Now, as for expounding this sūtra" down, raising hypothetical objections and questioning; 3. from "Therefore, expounding this sūtra" down, integrating the general characteristics; 4. from "Now, first explaining" down, opening sections for distinct explanations; 5. from "Thus we know that whether it is taught" down, harmonizing with the other teachings. Now for the first: this means that the Tathāgata has only a single unobstructed body, which differs only according to the faculties [of beings] and the teachings.
