4.44

疏「或說登地方見約勝機說」者，即四通他受用身。登地之機，為勝機耳。前別約二地，今通約十地也。

Regarding the Commentary's statement: 'Or where it is said that only upon ascending the stages is he seen, this is spoken in terms of superior capacities': this is the fourth, resolving the sambhogakāya for others' enjoyment. Those of the capacity to ascend the stages are the superior capacities. The previous one specifically addressed the second stage; the present one generally addresses all ten stages.
