44.15

疏「由得最勝解受難得名」等者，此有三釋：初以後成前，即後因前果。二「亦可由有難得」下，以前成後，即前體後用。三「又亦以後一」下，通相釋成，亦具前二意，但前別配、後遍通耳，故疏結從前義云「別配分明」。

On the commentary's "Receiving the name 'difficult to attain' due to obtaining the supreme resolve" and so forth: here there are three explanations. First, using the latter to establish the former, which is the latter being the cause and the former the effect. Second, from "Alternatively, it may be due to having what is difficult to attain" downward: using the former to establish the latter, which is the former being essence and the latter function. Third, from "Furthermore, it may also be by using the latter one" downward: explaining and establishing it through common characteristics; it also contains the intents of the previous two, except that the former specifically correlates them while the latter applies universally. Therefore, the commentary concludes by following the former meaning, saying: "The specific correlation is distinct."
