疏「義通馬」等者，以梵語通呼車乘云野（余我切）囊，若別呼車云奢羯吒，若呼車輅云曷羅他。此云野囊，明是車乘，故通馬等。下第十六即單是車，以梵云奢羯吒故。

Regarding the commentary's passage beginning with "The meaning extends to horses": because in Sanskrit, vehicles in general are called yāna (yena); if specifically calling a cart, it is called śakaṭa; if calling a carriage, it is called ratha. Here it says yāna, clarifying that it is a vehicle, and therefore it extends to horses and the like. Below, the sixteenth refers solely to a cart, because the Sanskrit is śakaṭa.
