54.25

疏「此願所以」下，第三釋善決定義。願是希求，若地前願不得稱善，決定今是證智相應之願。相應之願真能隨理，故名為善，此善即是決定之義。

From the commentary's "The reason why this vow..." downward is the third [section], explaining the meaning of "well-determined." A vow is yearning and seeking; if it is a vow prior to the grounds, it cannot be called "good" [or well] and "determined." Now it is a vow associated with realized cognition. A vow that is associated [with it] truly conforms to principle, and is therefore called "good" [or well]; this "good" is the very meaning of "determined."
