疏「四、齊朝隱士」等者，於正立中約於化儀及時以立漸說頓說，即是化儀。頓在始成、漸有五時，即約時說。

Regarding the Commentary's text 'Fourth, the hermit of the Qi dynasty' and so forth: in the formal establishment of the thesis, it establishes gradual and sudden expounding in terms of the pedagogical method and time: that is the pedagogical method. The sudden is at the initial attainment of enlightenment, and the gradual has five periods: this is spoken in terms of time.
