60.51

疏「一顯河急」者，即《瑜伽》第五漂溺時也。緩水易度，生死若緩，聖道可生。壯色不停剎那遷變，纔欲修道三昧已無，此即約果。

Regarding the Commentary's statement "first, showing the river's swiftness": this is the fifth in the Yogācārabhūmi, the time of being swept away and drowned. Slow waters are easy to cross; if saṃsāra were slow, the noble path could arise. Robust vigor does not halt, shifting and changing from moment to moment; no sooner does one wish to cultivate the path than samādhi is already gone. This is from the perspective of the fruit.
