第三發光地。疏「所以來者」，來意中三：初正明、二引證、三會釋。今初，有二意：一就三學、二地是戒、三地是定、四地已上皆屬於慧，故為次第，則令初地亦屬戒收。

The Third Ground: The Ground of Emitting Light. Regarding the Commentary's statement "The reason it follows": in the intention of what follows, there are three parts: first, directly clarifying; second, citing proof; third, harmonizing explanations. Now, the first has two meanings: first, in terms of the three trainings, the Second Ground is morality, the Third Ground is samādhi, and the Fourth Ground and above all belong to wisdom; hence they form an order, which also causes the First Ground to be subsumed under morality.
