60.85

疏「此廣大二心與前後有異」者，諸處有智上求為大，有悲兼物為廣。前地亦以不染為大，利他名勝。今以利他非小乘故亦得名大，智不求狹亦得稱廣。

Regarding the phrase "These two minds of broad and great differ from the preceding and subsequent": in various places, possessing wisdom and seeking above is 'great', while possessing compassion and extending to beings is 'broad'. The preceding stage also took non-defilement as 'great' and benefiting others as 'supreme'. Here, because benefiting others is not the Hīnayāna, it can also be named 'great', and because wisdom does not seek what is narrow, it can also be called 'broad'.
