61.25

疏「內淨無別體則唯有九」者，謂《俱舍》內淨即是信心。大乘《雜集》等但合第三禪捨念正知三支以為內淨，無別內淨，故但有九。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "if internal purity has no separate essence, there are only nine": this means that in the Kośa, internal purity is precisely the faculty of faith. The Mahāyāna Samuccaya and other texts merely combine the three factors of equanimity, mindfulness, and correct awareness of the third dhyāna to constitute internal purity, having no separate internal purity; therefore there are only nine.
