Regarding the commentary's "Thus the dharma-medicine of the antidote" and so forth: this is the third part, which concludes by establishing its depth and breadth. In this there are three: first, concluding the four applications of mindfulness. As commonly explained, the body and so forth are merely the objective conditions, and contemplating impermanence and so on merely breaks permanence and so on. Now, being the four of the dharmatā, each and every one breaks the eight inversions; hence they are called "dharma-medicines." Only the contemplative cognition that accords with nature is properly called "mindfulness." The stations of the four applications of mindfulness all possess the three truths, all perfectly interfused. Second, from "all is empty" downward, concludes the above three contemplations. Third, from "in just a single moment of mindfulness" downward, is a concluding praise. The rest can be known by extension.
