63.19

疏「本即所有身見」等者，疏文有三：一釋經。此中二我計執自高，說為我慢，非定法慢。二「而云」下，釋論本字。三「此中身見」下，出所斷體。於中有二：一約實位說，具引《唯識》已見初地。二約寄位，既是初果，初果初斷見故。

Regarding the commentary's phrase "the basis is all views of self" and so on: the commentary's text has three parts: 1. explaining the sūtra. Here the grasping of the two selves in self-exaltation is spoken of as the conceit of self, not the conceit of the Dharma of samādhi. 2. From "yet it says" onward, explaining the word "basis" in the treatise. 3. From "the view of self here" onward, identifying the essence of what is abandoned. Within this there are two points: first, speaking in terms of the actual stages, fully citing Vijñaptimātratā as already seen on the first ground. Second, in terms of the ascribed stages: since it is the first fruit [of the śrāvaka], on the first fruit one initially severs views.
