63.30

疏「無稠林行」，論經下有一句云「無諂曲心」，論釋云「不妄說己德」。經以稠林含於諂曲，疏以「不覆」亦含自詃。

On the commentary's "practice without thickets": below this in the treatise's sūtra text there is a clause stating "a mind free of deceit and crookedness," and the treatise's commentary explains: "not falsely proclaiming one's own virtues." The sūtra uses "thickets" to encompass deceit and crookedness; the commentary, with "not concealing," also encompasses self-boasting.
