64.26

疏「若約契本常寂」下，即寂滅忍，舉初該後，云「十地後得」。而言契本常寂者，前無生忍證實，望相則前所破與所證未同。今寂滅忍契所破常寂即所證故，故云最妙。

On the commentary passage beginning with "If in terms of tallying with the original, eternal quiescence": this is the kṣānti of extinction and cessation; raising the first covers the subsequent ones, so it says "attained after the tenth bhūmi". As for saying "tallying with the original, eternal quiescence": previously in anutpattikadharmakṣānti, one realized reality, but looking toward characteristics, that which was previously refuted and that which was realized were not yet identical. Now, in the kṣānti of extinction and cessation, tallying with what was refuted as being eternally quiescent is itself what is realized; hence it is called "the most marvelous".
