64.62

疏「文中二句」下，第三正釋經文。於中有三：初略釋經文、二舉論經會釋、三引論反徵。今初，先正釋、後「此直順」下結成。今初，言「但是苦集」者，世間受生即是妄苦，著我之心即是集因。言「是滅道故」者，若離此著，即是道諦，則無生處即是滅諦。

Under the commentary's phrase "The two phrases in the text," this is the third, properly explaining the sūtra text. Within this there are three: first, briefly explaining the sūtra text; second, citing the treatise sūtra to reconcile and explain; third, citing the treatise to question inversely. Now, as for the first: first properly explaining, and afterwards, under "this directly conforms," concluding and establishing. Now, regarding the first: the phrase "these are merely suffering and origin" means that receiving birth in the world is simply false suffering, and the mind attached to self is simply the cause that is the origin. The phrase "because these are cessation and the path" means that if one is free from this attachment, that is simply the truth of the path, and having no place of birth is simply the truth of cessation.
