疏「為顯十度通二義」者，一成義利，即前利他；二求菩提，即今自利。結文是一，而義兩成，故云「巧用」。

Regarding the Commentary's 'To show that the ten perfections encompass both meanings': the first is achieving beneficial purpose, which is the aforementioned benefiting of others; the second is seeking bodhi, which is the present self-benefit. The concluding text is one, yet the meanings are doubly accomplished; hence it is called 'skillful application.'
