68.56

疏「得入下勝進趣後」者，經中但云「得入智慧自在行故」，論經云「得入智慧神通行故」，論釋云「通者五神通，智者如前說。」釋曰：如前十方便智，上七地修此十智，至於八地無功而成，似於此地，故得指之。然論神通，即今自在，疏全二經，故以自在指十自在，十自在亦神通故。

Regarding the Commentary's 'attaining entry into the superior progress below and advancing toward the subsequent': the sūtra simply states 'because of attaining entry into the conduct of the sovereign mastery of wisdom,' whereas the Śāstra's sūtra text says 'because of attaining entry into the conduct of the sovereign superknowledges of wisdom.' The Śāstra's commentary explains: 'Abhijñā refers to the five superknowledges; jñāna is as explained previously.' Explanation: Like the ten wisdoms of skillful means mentioned before, the upper seventh ground cultivates these ten wisdoms; reaching the eighth ground, they are accomplished without effort. Resembling this ground, it is therefore pointed to. However, the Śāstra's 'superknowledges' are the present 'sovereign mastery'; the Commentary integrates both sūtras, and therefore uses sovereign mastery to point to the ten sovereign masteries, because the ten sovereign masteries are also superknowledges.
