69.22

疏「第三初中後」下，疏文有二：先正明、後揀濫。今初，即正證無增無減真如。若隨相說，前際染增淨減，後際淨增染減，中際半增半減。今約理性空，故並非之。

Regarding the commentary's "Third, beginning, middle, and end" and below: the text of the commentary has two parts: first, directly explaining; later, eliminating confusion. Now for the first: this directly verifies the tathatā free from increase and decrease. If explained according to characteristics, at the past boundary defilement increases and purity decreases; at the future boundary purity increases and defilement decreases; and at the middle boundary it is half increasing and half decreasing. Now, treating it in terms of the emptiness of the nature of principle, both are negated.
