69.58

疏「以身不必同其所化」者，如有居士欲見佛身，為現佛身。佛身不同居士，而隨其心樂，名心同事。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Because the body need not be identical with those whom it transforms": for instance, if there is a householder who wishes to see the Buddha's body, the Buddha manifests the Buddha's body for him. The Buddha's body is not identical to that of a householder, yet it accords with what his mind delights in; this is termed "mentally working together with others".
