73.13

疏「上二句性故」者，論一時具云聞法者，性故、作故，二事示現，疏離破之。「謂三慧」下，疏釋論。「大法明」下，牒論釋經。然今經云「安受攝持」，論經云「受堪思持」。思即是攝，堪即是安。受堪雖倒，俱是聞慧。疏取義順經，不違論釋。餘並可知。

Regarding the commentary's 'the upper two phrases are by nature': the treatise simultaneously and fully says that one who hears the Dharma does so by nature and by action, two matters manifested, which the commentary analyzes and separates. From 'meaning the three wisdoms' downwards, the commentary explains the treatise. From 'great Dharma illumination' downwards, it repeats the treatise to explain the sūtra. Now the present sūtra says 'peacefully receives and upholds,' while the sūtra of the treatise says 'receives, bears, contemplates, and holds.' 'Contemplates' is just 'upholds'; 'bears' is just 'peacefully.' Although 'receives' and 'bears' are inverted, both are the wisdom of hearing. The commentary adopts the meaning to conform to the sūtra, not contradicting the treatise's explanation. The rest can all be known.
