疏「今以此經通即委」下，第二會釋經文。於中二：先會晉經明，順文順義，義皆委照，文有證故。後「晉經意存順義」下，會今經文。言「務不違文」者，文有十通，同六通故；明但有三，十無從故。通，梵語云吃㗚地（平聲），明云婆（上聲）哆。

As for the commentary's "Now, taking this sūtra, superknowledge is detailed" and below, this is the second part, harmonising and explaining the sūtra text. Within this there are two: first, harmonising the Jin sūtra's [use of] "clarity," conforming with the text and conforming with the meaning—in meaning both are exhaustively illuminated, and the text has proof. Next, from "The Jin sūtra's intent lay in conforming with the meaning" onward, it harmonises the present sūtra text. The statement "striving not to violate the text" means: the text has ten superknowledges, sharing this with the six superknowledges; clarities are only three, so ten would have no basis. For "superknowledge," the Sanskrit is *ṛddhi* (level tone); for "clarity," it is *vidyā* (rising tone).
