74.6

疏「然智緣他心」下，第二辨相。於中二：先敘異釋、後會今經。前中，即彼《二十唯識》，偈云「他心智云何？緣境不如實，如知自心智，不知如佛境。」不知如佛境者，唯佛得本質故。

As for the commentary's "However, when cognition takes others' minds as object" and below, this is the second part, distinguishing the characteristics. Within this there are two: first, recounting different explanations; second, harmonising the present sūtra. In the former, it is that *Viṃśikā*, where the verse says: "How is the cognition of others' minds? It apprehends its object not in accordance with reality, / Just like the cognition knowing one's own mind, it does not know like the Buddha's realm." "Does not know like the Buddha's realm" means that only a Buddha attains the fundamental substance.
