75.19

疏「所非之事亦可次第對前情非情境」者，如非男非女，即對前了達眾生；非地水火風，即對前了達國土等。疏「象等非術故」等者，即因果相異門，依他之果非遍計緣故。「下句反此」者，術非象等，明遍計非依他；下明相有，即因果相成。

In the commentary, "The negated phenomena can also correspond sequentially to the preceding sentient and insentient spheres": such as "neither male nor female" corresponds to the earlier fully comprehending sentient beings; "neither earth, water, fire, nor wind" corresponds to the earlier fully comprehending realms, etc. In the commentary, "because the elephant, etc., are not the sorcery," etc., is the gate of cause and effect being mutually distinct, because the effect of the other-dependent is not the condition of conceptualization. "The lower phrase is the reverse of this": sorcery is not the elephant, etc., clarifying that the conceptualized is not the other-dependent; the following clarification that characteristics exist is cause and effect mutually establishing each other.
