疏「福德人至鼻」等者，即《智度論》文。「或至梵世」，即《法華經．如來神力品》「爾時如來出廣長舌相，上至梵世，或覆三千。」即《阿彌陀》云「出廣長舌，遍覆三千大千世界，說誠實言」等。

Regarding the Commentary's 'a person of merit reaches the nose' and so forth: this is a passage from the *Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa*. 'Or reaches the Brahmā world' is from the *Lotus Sūtra*, 'Chapter on the Transcendent Powers of the Tathāgata': 'At that time the Tathāgata extended his broad and long tongue, which reached up to the Brahmā world, or covered the trichiliocosm.' This is as the *Amitābha [Sūtra]* says: 'Extending his broad and long tongue, completely covering the great trichiliocosm, and speaking truthful words,' and so forth.
