79.29

疏「故淨名云：其無礙慧無若干」者，即第三〈菩薩行品〉經，前已頻引，今更略示。因說香飯為佛事竟，便明諸佛功德平等，云「阿難！汝見諸佛國土地有若干，而虛空無若干也。汝見諸佛色身有若干，其無礙慧無若干也。」

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Therefore the Vimalakīrti[-nirdeśa] says: 'His unimpeded wisdom has no diversity'": this is from the third fascicle, the "Chapter on Bodhisattva Practice"; it has been frequently cited before, and is now briefly indicated again. Because the explanation of the fragrance-rice being Buddha-activity was concluded, it then clarified that the virtues of the Buddhas are equal, saying: "Ānanda! You see that the lands of the Buddha-realms have diversity, yet space has no diversity. You see that the physical bodies of the Buddhas have diversity, yet their unimpeded wisdom has no diversity."
