第九出現涅槃。疏文分三：初來意、二彰大旨、三開章別釋。今初。「轉化既周」，躡前起後。「安住祕藏」，顯真涅槃。「為物示滅」，顯應涅槃，文具二故。

Ninth: Manifesting Nirvāṇa. The commentary's text is divided into three parts: first, the purpose of its occurrence; second, clarifying the main theme; third, opening sections for individual explanation. First, as for this initial part: "His turning [of the wheel] and transformation being complete" connects what precedes to initiate what follows. "Abiding serenely in the secret treasury" reveals the true nirvāṇa. "Displaying extinction for the sake of beings" reveals the responsive nirvāṇa, as the text contains both.
