第五出現境界。疏「正顯分齊」下，疏文有三：初出體；二「依初義」下，對前二義以辯來意；三「由所緣」下，融上二義。疏「後正顯所緣」下，分二：先隨文釋；後「若約二諦」下，義門料揀。

Fifth, the cognitive sphere of appearance. From the commentary’s “Directly revealing the delimitation” onward, the text of the commentary has three parts: first, it presents the essence; second, from “Relying on the first meaning” onward, it determines the purpose of its occurrence relative to the preceding two meanings; third, from “Due to the object of cognition…” onward, it integrates the above two meanings. From the commentary’s “Next, directly revealing the object of cognition” onward, it is divided into two: first, explaining according to the text; second, from “If examined in terms of the two truths” onward, categorising and analyzing the theoretical approaches.
