Tenth, seeing and hearing the Tathāgata's manifestation. On the commentary's: "Does not go beyond [the virtues of] wisdom, abandonment, and grace": the first three lines mark the fruits of the three virtues. The first line is the virtue of wisdom, because prajñā is fulfilled. The next line is the virtue of abandonment, because liberation is fulfilled. The next line is the virtue of grace, because the dharmakāya is consummate. The next two lines comprehensively accomplish the three above; all three vows are fulfilled, none being in vain. The latter six lines again explain the three above. The first three lines explain the inexhaustible awakening and insight above: not exhausting the conditioned is the wisdom that accomplishes matters, while according with the unconditioned is the wisdom of the nature of things. When these two causes are complete, they generate the wisdom of all buddhas, which is the fulfillment of the fruit. The next two lines explain the consummation above: the grace of great compassion exhausts the limits of the future, and because the practice of omniscient wisdom is achieved, the dharmakāya is attained. The last line explains the virtue of abandonment above: attaining to the buddha ground, there are no hindrances to be abandoned, which is the efficacy of liberation. Therefore, above, in the mental karma of the manifestation, it says: "Attaining the Tathāgata ground, all functions cease."
