疏「約處名三會普光明殿之會」等者，疏文有二：先正釋、後解妨。前中亦二：先標、後「第七重會」下釋意。明第七已曾重會，故今名三會，而便明七八俱會普光而有差別。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "In terms of location, it is called the third assembly in the Hall of Universal Light...", the text of the commentary has two parts: first it directly explains, and second it resolves an objection. Within the first part there are also two: first it identifies [the assembly], and second, from "In the seventh [assembly], it had already reconvened..." onwards, it explains the intent. It clarifies that in the seventh [assembly], it had already reconvened there once before; therefore it is now called the third assembly, thereby explaining that although the seventh and eighth both assemble in [the Hall of] Universal Light, there is a distinction between them.
