疏「今初一門一類」下，文中有四：初總標；二「首明依」下，辨初門來意；三「然二百門」下，總科諸段；四「今此依中」下，正釋經文。疏「忘失菩提心」下，即五十八經。

Regarding the commentary's statement, "Now the first gate is of one class" downward, within the text there are four [points]: First, a general introduction; second, from "First it clarifies reliance" downward, it distinguishes the reason for the occurrence of the first gate; third, from "However, the two hundred gates" downward, it universally outlines the various sections; fourth, from "Now within this reliance" downward, it directly explains the sūtra text. Regarding the commentary's citation, "To forget and lose the bodhicitta" downward, this is the fifty-eighth fascicle of the sūtra.
