83.52

疏「二無寄門」者，然形奪要二相假無寄，則當法自離，故不同也。相及俗諦皆有為性，及真諦皆無為。言「非二名言所能至」者，言語道斷故，表義名言不能至也；心行處滅故，顯境名言所不能至。從「解深密」下，引證俱非。

Regarding the Commentary's "Second, the gate of non-reliance": comparison and deprivation require two aspects mutually relying on each other; when there is non-reliance, the dharma itself is inherently detached [from them], and hence they are not the same. Characteristics and conventional truth both have conditioned nature, whereas the ultimate truth is entirely unconditioned. As for "cannot be reached by either kind of verbal designation": because the path of speech is cut off, verbal designations that express conceptual meaning cannot reach it; because the movements of the mind are extinguished, verbal designations that manifest the objective sphere cannot reach it. From "The Saṃdhinirmocana [Sūtra]" onward, it cites evidence that it is free from both.
