疏「第二法界類別」者，上來雖有五界通該諸法，今於總法開從別類。然類開五門，五門各五，初二文顯、後三文隱。

Regarding the Commentary's "Second, the categories of the dharmadhātu": although previously there were five realms comprehensively covering all dharmas, now from the general dharma they are unfolded into specific categories. Here the categories are unfolded into five gates, and the five gates each have five; the first two are explicit in the text, while the latter three are implicit in the text.
