84.25

疏「又此四悲亦是從佛向機之漸次」者，依悲之體，入悲之門，以悲向前為化生之方便也。

Regarding the Commentary's statement, "Moreover, these four compassions are also the gradual sequence from the Buddha toward the capacities of beings," this means: relying on the essence of compassion, one enters the gate of compassion, using compassion to proceed forward as an upāya for transforming living beings.
