疏「故依古德」下，第三釋義，先略、後廣。略中三：初二句結前生後、次「嚬申奮迅」下就喻辯相、後「總相釋」下就法辯相。

Under the Commentary's statement, "Therefore, relying on the ancient masters...," the third is the explanation of meaning, first brief and then detailed. In the brief explanation there are three parts: first, the initial two lines conclude the preceding and introduce the subsequent; next, from "*pin shen* and *fen xun*" downward, the characteristics are distinguished with respect to the metaphor; and finally, from "general explanation" downward, the characteristics are distinguished with respect to the doctrine.
