Regarding the commentary's statement, "Third, from 'Why is this?' downward": this queries to conclude and establish it. The text of the commentary is divided into two: first, it correctly explains the text; second, it resolves objections. Now, regarding the first, when it says "the rest are all in order": 1. The Tathāgata's realm is extremely profound, concluding the metaphor of hungry ghosts facing the Ganges river; 2. It is vast and great, concluding the metaphor of dreaming of wandering in heavenly palaces; 3. It is difficult to see, concluding the metaphor of fools facing the Snow Mountains; 4. It is difficult to know, concluding the metaphor of the hidden treasure being difficult to know; 5. It is difficult to fathom, concluding the metaphor of the blind not seeing jewels; 6. It is difficult to measure, concluding the metaphor of pure eyes being unobstructed; 7. It transcends all worlds, concluding the metaphor of the cognitive realm of the totality-attainment; 8. It is inconceivable, concluding the metaphor of the marvelous medicine concealing forms; 9. Nothing can destroy it, concluding the metaphor of the two devas following a person; 10. It is not the cognitive realm of any of the two vehicles, concluding the metaphor of the cessation attainment being inoperative, because the operations of the six faculties are all inactive. The meaning of the text between them corresponds extremely well.
