85.41

疏「達里鼻茶」，新譯為達羅比吒，唐言持富饒，亦順生貴之義。疏「以三世聖教法雲雨一切故」者，約表位說，即彼經云「此菩薩應勸學十法，所謂了知過去未來現在一切佛法；二修習三圓滿，各三為九；十了知一切諸佛平等是也。」

Regarding the commentary's "Dravida": newly translated as Draviḍa; in the language of the Tang it means 'holding abundance,' which also accords with the meaning of 'noble birth.' Regarding the commentary's "because the Dharma-clouds of the sacred teachings of the three periods rain upon everything": speaking in terms of symbolizing the stages, that sūtra states, 'This bodhisattva should be encouraged to learn ten dharmas, namely: completely knowing all Buddha-dharmas of past, future, and present; second, practicing the three fulfillments, three each making nine; tenth, completely knowing the equality of all Buddhas.'
