疏二十五「叉(楚我切)字」,別譯為「漩澓」字。若會經者,業海深廣無不包含,非是無為終竟須盡。《智論》云「若聞叉字,則知一切法盡不可得,以叉耶此言盡故。」

In the commentary on the twenty-fifth [syllable], 'kṣa' (叉, pronounced chǔ-wǒ), another translation has the syllable 'whirlpool' (xuanfu). If correlated with the sūtra, the deep and vast ocean of karma contains everything; it is not unconditioned and ultimately must be exhausted. The Mahāprajñāpāramitopadeśa states: 'If one hears the syllable kṣa, one then knows that the exhaustion of all phenomena is ungraspable, because kṣaya (叉耶) here means exhaustion.'
