Regarding the commentary's "Third, because the preceding sentient beings and Buddha mutually reside within one another" and so forth: this proposition is formed simply by combining the preceding two, both being real and not false. That is, when the Buddha first subsumes sentient beings, he completely subsumes them without before or after; therefore it is real and not false. Sentient beings' subsumption is not false, so the teaching is in the minds of sentient beings; the Buddha's subsumption is not false, so the teaching is in the Buddha's mind.
