From the Commentary's "As for persons, there are distinctions between the one who asks and the one who expounds" downward: separately explaining persons, it mentions two categories, with "et cetera" including those for whose sake it is expounded and that which is expounded. "Asks" means: first, taking the name from the person who asks, like the Viseṣacintibrahmaparipṛcchā-sūtra, the Bhadrapāla-sūtra, and so forth. Second, based on the person who is able to speak, like the Akṣayamatinirdeśa-sūtra and so forth. Third, based on the person for whose sake it is spoken, like the Sudāna-sūtra, the Udayana-sūtra, and so forth. Fourth, based on the person about whom it is spoken, like the Kanakavarṇa-kumāra-sūtra and so forth.
