In the commentary, from "In this sūtra, relying on this meaning…" below, is the second [subpart]: harmonizing and explaining the sūtra text. The statement "As explained in the subsequent text on the Ten Samādhis, the Ten Supernormal Knowledges, etc." means that because the two chapters on Samādhis and Supernormal Knowledges encompass both the beginning and the end. "Etc." includes by extension the ten receptivities. In the subsequent sūtra's ten receptivities, there are the auditory receptivity, compliant receptivity, etc., meaning the explanation of the doctrine based on the five receptivities. At the seventh, eighth, and ninth bhūmis one attains the [receptivity to] non-arising, which already surpasses faith and compliance, let alone equal awakening. Now, explaining that equal awakening possesses auditory [receptivity] and the like is therefore the subsumption of the initial.
