Regarding the Commentary's line beginning with "The treatise master subsumes the ten into four kinds": this separately explains them. Among the four, the first three are self-benefit and the last one is benefiting others. Among the former, what the treatise regards as the first is now the second, and its second is the first. Now, following the order of the sūtra, the first is departing from faults and the latter two are accomplishing virtues. Within accomplishing virtues, the former accomplishes karmic reward and the latter accomplishes internal virtue.
