In the commentary, from "and the attained..." down, sixth, is attaining the fruition. The phrase "mastery of meditative absorption, etc." refers to the Liang translation of the treatise stating: "Penetrating the dharmadhātu free of increase and decrease, mastery of meditative absorption, etc., one attains the fruit of the dharmakāya." The meaning of "etc." includes the nine masteries. In the Suvarṇaprabhāsa-sūtra, producing the mind on the eighth ground attains the realization of samādhi.
