In the commentary, from “Thirteenth, ‘The Tathāgata’ ” below, in terms of the sūtra, this is exhausting all doubts. The eleventh is severing one’s own doubts; this is severing the doubts of others. In the commentary, it first presents the name of the virtue; next, from “meaning the Buddha’s wisdom” below, it explains. That treatise states in full: “Because he has skillful, distinct knowledge regarding those just mentioned who are to be converted, it is distinguished next. That is, a holy śrāvaka might say: ‘This person has no good roots whatsoever.’ The Tathāgata knows that their wholesome dharmas will manifest and be realized, because they are accompanied by minute seeds of wholesome roots from the past. Therefore, in the sūtra text, unhindered wisdom sees all sentient beings and matures them through boundless approaches.”
